Lupita Nyong’o graced this month’s cover of Vogue. The cover of this fall edition fits this season perfectly with the brown, gold and red hues, and which makes Lupita’s complexion look even richer.
On reading the article, which sees Lupita attending various shows during Paris Couture Week, it appears that the Oscar winning actress is “in fashion” herself, with designers, fellow actresses and film directors offering nothing but compliments about her.
I know that an article is only a few hundred words long and you could never get to know someone within a five-page interview, however Lupita does share some of her childhood experiences growing up in Kenya which helped her evolve into the award-winning actress and philanthropist that she is today.
What’s also surprising is the large amount of publicity she has attracted from her supporting role in 12 Years a Slave; her first major film role.
Having secured roles in the upcoming Star Wars and Disney’s Jungle Book movies, two very established stories told through film, Lupita’s portfolio of work is one to be admired for an actress, especially at this early stage in her career.
It’s great to see this curly-crowned lady make positive strides in film, fashion and philanthropy.
